Shrimoyee is a television presenter, producer and was the owner and chef of two restaurants in London called Calcutta Street. She created, directed, produced and presented the recently released docu-series India Bites, which aims to break stereotypes about Indian culture through food and conversations, now streaming on Apple TV and HULU. She has hosted Valley Fest for Food Foundation supported by Emma Thompson, events for Jamie Oliver’s organisation Bite back, and was on the panel at UN Food Systems summit with world leaders. She has made several television and radio appearances on Channel 4's Win It, Cook It, BBC's William Sitwel Show and Gaby Roslin Show, Soho Radio's Afternoon Show, Food Network, and Star TV. She has been featured in press such as BBC, Bloomberg, CNN, FT, and The Telegraph. She is an advocate for food security, reducing food waste and making a difference with food and frequently works with The Food Foundation on their global youth led campaign Action4Change. Shrimoyee holds a masters degree in business and finance from University of Manchester and a diploma in Drama from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London.
